Speech: How AI can be implemented in Medicine and Clinical Practice

Artificial Intelligence (AI) holds enormous potential for medicine and clinical practice , if we can use it right. It can reduce the burden on the health care system by taking on the tasks that can be converted into an algorithm. It could improve patient outcomes, and increase productivity across the system, freeing up clinicians’ time so they can focus on the parts of the job where they add the most value.

MD and Clinical Research Fellow at Oslo University Hospital and Oslo University doing research on how artificial intelligence can be implemented in clinical practice and medicine, especially in colorectal cancer screening and prevention. Deputy member of the Norwegian Biotechnology Advisory Board.
