About us:

Originally launched in November 2016 as one of the largest Emerging Tech conferences of Norway, Oslo Big Data Day (OBDD) is spearheaded by a steering committee consisting of David Holm, Stefan Petersson, Ole Christian Bøe and Surendra Thapaliya, together with representatives of the faculty and management of BI Norwegian Business School. OBDD is organized and supported by a community of students, volunteers, sponsors and speakers.

Xplorico organized OBDD for the first time on November 15th 2016 at Microsoft Norway HQ - in close cooperation between leading vendors within the Big Data Analytics space in Norway and Europe.

OBDD is an annual one-day event bringing together the most innovative minds, enterprise practitioners, technology providers, start-ups and academics, working with Data Science, Big Data and Analytics. With over 100+ domestic and international speakers on multiple stages and plenty of learning and networking activities in the exhibition areas, the OBDD is the place to be for all professionals and organizations of all sizes working with the utilization of data for increasing profit, reinventing business models and increasing customer satisfaction.
