Espen Andersen - Associate Professor, BI Norwegian Business School

Many companies want to get into data analytics and become data driven - but find that the transition from ambition to performance if fraught with difficulties. Based on experiences from more than 150 project proposals and more than 50 actual projects, Espen Andersen and Chandler Johnson will describe the main difficulties companies experience on their journey into big data.

Espen Andersen is an Associate Professor with the Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at BI Norwegian Business School (www.bi.no)as well as Adjunct Associate Professor with the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo (ifi.uio.no). He holds a degree of Doctor of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and is a speaker, consultant and researcher on technology and strategic management topics.
