Wilfried Pimenta de Miranda - Business Development Director at IOTA Foundation

Taking a few concrete use cases, Wilfried will explain how IOTA can enable a new open and transparent digital infrastructures for smart cities and smart nations and facilitate secure communication and Machine-to-Machine data microtransaction needed to power up new digital innovation. A particular focus will be given around these themes: Security and privacy, smart city innovation at the cross road of energy, mobility and real estate.

Wilfried Pimenta de Miranda is Business Development Director at IOTA, a global Foundation developing a DLT / Blockchain protocol for the digital economy and the future of automation. Prior to his joining IOTA in 2016, he worked in strategy-M&A, business and corporate development for enterprises and startups in the energy, cleantech and infrastructure engineering sectors. Pioneering the offshore wind industry in the early 2000’s, he is now working at the forefront of the Internet-of-Things era, engaging a wide ecosystem of multinationals and public sector enterprises to address Digital Trust challenges ahead and unleash a new wave of value creation and data driven business models. Wilfried is based in Oslo and holds a Masters of Engineering from France and Norway, and a global executive MBA from INSEAD.
